Terms of Service
Last updated: September 29, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website billdestroyers.com (the “Site”) and the medical bill estimate and negotiation services offered by Bill Destroyers (“Bill Destroyers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing the Site or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
2. Description of Services
Bill Destroyers helps individuals review medical bills and, when authorized, negotiate with hospitals, providers, and related billing parties. Submitting an estimate form requests an initial review and follow-up contact. It does not guarantee savings, create a client relationship for negotiation, or commit you to paid services.
Negotiation or other paid work begins only if you later agree to proceed under a separate authorization or engagement we provide. We currently focus on California and may decline requests outside our service area or outside our expertise.
3. No Guarantees
Results vary. We do not guarantee that your bill will be reduced, that a provider will agree to a lower amount, that insurance will cover additional costs, or that any particular outcome will occur. Any estimate is informational only and is not a promise of savings.
4. Not Legal, Medical, or Insurance Advice
Bill Destroyers is not a law firm, medical provider, insurance company, or fiduciary. Nothing on the Site or in our communications is legal advice, medical advice, insurance advice, or tax advice. You should consult your own attorney, clinician, insurer, or other qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.
5. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and your medical bill
- Promptly provide documents we reasonably request if you ask us to negotiate on your behalf
- Remain responsible for amounts you owe unless and until a provider or billing party agrees in writing to a different amount or payment arrangement
- Continue meeting any deadlines, payment plans, or legal obligations related to your bill unless we expressly confirm otherwise in writing
- Use the Site and Services only for lawful purposes and only in connection with bills you are authorized to discuss
6. Authorization to Contact You
By submitting the form or otherwise providing your contact information, you consent to Bill Destroyers contacting you by phone, text, email, or similar means regarding your inquiry and the Services, including through automated or autodialed systems where permitted by law. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time; we may still contact you about an active request or account matter.
7. Fees
Submitting an estimate request is free unless we state otherwise. Any fees for negotiation or related services will be disclosed before you authorize paid work. You are responsible for any amounts you agree to pay under a separate engagement.
8. Intellectual Property
The Site, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Bill Destroyers or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Site or its content without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use of publicly available pages.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site, servers, or networks connected to the Services
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
- Use the Services to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Scrape, harvest, or reverse engineer the Site except as allowed by law
- Use the Services in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms
10. Third-Party Services
The Site may link to or rely on third-party tools and websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and may be governed by separate terms.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE OR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY PARTICULAR RESULT WILL BE ACHIEVED.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BILL DESTROYERS AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bill Destroyers and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site or Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or Services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the Services. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply, you agree that courts located in California will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Site and Services.
17. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any separate authorization or engagement you sign with us, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bill Destroyers regarding the Site and Services and supersede prior agreements on that subject.
18. Contact Us
Questions about these Terms may be sent to hello@billdestroyers.com or through the contact information published on billdestroyers.com.
